SpecLink version 2026.3.4.2 provides the following fixes to the system on September 18, 2026:
- Copied and Pasted Links Now Work as Expected
- Sections Remained Locked After Use
- Duplicate Global Terms Created After Importing Sections
- Various data fixes have been applied
Copied and Pasted Links Now Work as Expected
Links in paragraphs that had been copied and pasted did not behave as expected in their new location. Copied and pasted paragraphs with links are now resolving correctly.
Sections Remaining Locked After Use
Occasionally, a section would remained locked after the user had finished working in it. The lock was not released, preventing other users from editing the section. Sections are now releasing as expected once they are no longer in use.
Duplicate Global Terms Created After Importing Sections
Users have reported that user-added global terms were being duplicated while importing sections from other projects. This has been corrected, so importing sections no longer creates duplicate global terms.
Various Code and Data Fixes Applied
Various code and data fixes that are project-specific or customer-specific have been applied since the previous SpecLink release.
