SpecLink Cloud received an important improvement and a list of fixes on March 20, 2026.
Improvements
The following improvement was made to SpecLink Cloud:
Adjust Menu Load Sequences and Data Calls to Improve Performance
Many users have reported an increase in performance-related issues with SpecLink Cloud. To resolve the issues, the following improvements have been implemented to enhance the performance experience within SpecLink Cloud.
- Previously, all menus attempted to load simultaneously when a user logged in. Now only the menus needed will load. This will enhance the response time for users to begin interacting with the program. Other menus will load in the background or as needed by the user.
- Searching the Projects or Office Masters dashboard has been optimized.
- Menu completion and data calls to the server have been adjusted to reduce performance-related traffic and give priority to functions necessary for specific tasks.
Fixes
There are several fixes addressed in SpecLink Cloud v2026.1.11:

- Link Feature Fixes
- Section and Paragraph Activation/Deactivation
- Various Code and Data Fixes Applied
Print/Export Issues with Non-Standard Date/Time Formats
In some cases, users have adjusted their computer date/time settings. Some of these settings have caused print/exports to not complete properly. This issue has been corrected.
Link Feature Fixes
The following link-related issues have been corrected:
- When sections were added using Import from Word with conversion of Reference Standards selected, the green bar for links to Reference Standards paragraphs were not initially appearing, even though the links were working correctly. The green bar now appears as expected.
- Previously, when a user copied a section, target links within the section were not copied into the new section. This issue has been corrected.
Section and Paragraph Activation/Deactivation
Some users have reported that activating sections or paragraphs, or deactivating sections or paragraphs, would result in the operation not completing. This has been resolved so the activation or deactivation action should no longer stall, and complete as expected.
Various Code and Data Fixes Applied
Various code and data fixes that are project- or customer-specific have been applied since the previous SpecLink Cloud release.
