Overview
SpecLink Version 2026.3.4 provides the following new feature, enhancement, and fixes to the system on August 14, 2026.
New Feature
All Master and User Sections Supported in Suggested Sections
In the BIM Details dashboard, when a user clicks on a Revit element card, suggested master sections for the category (such as Doors) will appear in the Suggested Sections panel.
The following feature has been added:
- The BIM Details – Sections function now returns all sections, both master and user-created, in Suggested Sections that apply to the element card selected.
Enhancement
Revit "R" Button Persistence Retained Across Newer Synced Model Versions
In the BIM Details tab, users can select the R (Revit related) state for a section to show the section was selected as part of the BIM review process.
- The "R" button state now carries forward when newer versions of a Revit model are synced to a SpecLink project.
- State is now retained against the project rather than the individual Revit model instance.

- Print/Export: Single-Select Choices No Longer Include "OR" When Show All Choice Options is Enabled

- Various Code and Data Fixes Applied
Reference Standards Pending Update Count Handling Improvements
Several improvements were made regarding the pending update counts for both Master and User-Added Reference Standards:
- Underlying handling of update counts during reference standard operations has been reworked for consistency and performance.
- User Reference Standards updates were not applying as expected; they now apply correctly.
- Pushing a master Reference Standard update did not reflect the updated count in SpecLink; the count now updates.
- Publishing a new master Reference Standard and then updating that same Reference Standard left the count invisible in the editor; the count is now shown.
- Sending a project produced a mismatched count for user Reference Standards; counts now match the actual pending update state.
Document Map: Choices Display Correctly When Toggling Between Expanded and Compressed Views
Choices displayed incorrectly in the Document Map after toggling from Expanded to Compressed view and back. The Document Map now renders choices correctly in both views and across repeated toggles.
Print/Export: Single-Select Choices No Longer Include "OR" When Show All Choice Options is Enabled
When Show All Choice Options was included on Print/Export, single-select choices incorrectly included an "OR" separator.
- Single-select choices no longer include "OR" in printed or exported output.
- This adjustment allows the users to easily identify single-select option types vs. multiple-select “OR” types.
Import from Word as a Form Dialog Update
An incorrect dialog sometimes appeared during Import from Word for Forms and broke the import workflow. The correct dialog now appears, and the import completes as expected.
Links Panel: Links for Paragraphs Now Display in the Correct Order
Previously, links did not follow the expected sequence in the Links Panel. Links were listed in sequence paragraph order no matter what section the link was associated with. Links now display in the correct order, making specific links easier to locate in longer lists.
- In-section links will be shown only by sequence number (Section ID assumed).
- Cross-section links will be shown by Section ID+sequence number.
Track Changes: Formatting is Now Retained on Print
Previously formatting applied while Track Changes was active was not reflected in print/exports. Formatting changes are now reflected on print/exports.
Shared Projects: Images Are Not Visible
Previous to this release, users were not able to view images in shared projects. Instead, users saw {IMG#} text in its place. Images now remain intact when projects are shared.
Various Code and Data Fixes Applied
Various code and data fixes that are project- or customer-specific have been applied since the previous SpecLink release.
