SpecLink Cloud Release Notes Version 2026.3.2 - 2026.06.19

SpecLink Cloud Version 2026.3.2 provides the following new feature, enhancements, and fixes to the system on June 19, 2026.

New Feature

Sections List: Show/Hide Columns

A Show/Hide Columns feature has been added to the Sections List to match the experience to the Projects Dashboard. The Show/Hide Columns button is located with the Unlock Sections In Use, Refresh, and Change Preferences icons to the right of the Search bar.

With the addition of the Show/Hide Columns feature, the Catalog column is now turned off by default, giving the users the option to select it for viewing or remaining off.

Enhancements

Enhancements that have been made to SpecLink Cloud include:

Users Are Now Able to Remove or Change Outline and Short Form tags for Sections

Users can now remove or change the Outline and Short Form View tags in Sequence 0000. Previously, the Sequence 0000 tag could not be removed independently, even if all other View Tags had been removed. This will benefit users who desire to remove specific sections from Outline or Short Form reports.

This additionally allows users to be able to remove View tags from an entire section at once by removing the Sequence 0000 View tag. As always when removing a tag from a parent paragraph, a confirmation pop-up will appear to ensure the tag removal was wanted.

BIM Details: Inclusion of Section Includes and Related Requirements Data for User Sections Improved

The BIM Details dashboard now displays the "Section Includes" and "Related Requirements" article content for user sections that were copied from a master section or created from a master template, matching the existing behavior for sections imported from Word.

Selecting a Revit element card and clicking a user section copied from a master now displays the Section Includes and Related Requirements article content. For more information on the BIM Detail Viewer, please see this article.

BIM Details: Element Cards Now Grouped Together in List View

BIM element cards in List View are now grouped together when the same element appears two or more times, matching the grouping behavior already used in Group View. The sorting order in List View follows the same logic used in Group View. For more information on the BIM Detail Viewer, please see this article.

Removed the File Size Column from BIM Menus

The File Size column has been removed from the various BIM menus since the Revit Plug-In sync process no longer captures Revit file size values.

Fixes

The following fixes have been made to SpecLink Cloud:

  • The Global Term choice icon no longer temporarily disappears after updating the project value.
  • Multiple fixes to Link functionality have been made, including correcting a lock up after repeated link toggles, preventing Choice Links chains from not activating after the third step, as well as Choice to Paragraph and Choice to Choice Links to function as expected.
  • Resolved an issues where changes were lost when refreshing while excluding sections in a project.
  • Addressed an issue where sections tagged NP (Non-Printing) exported as blank pages when exporting to Word. 
  • Various data fixes that are project- or customer-specific have been applied since the previous SpecLink cloud release.
