Using the Simple Search Bar in SpecLive Impact

Overview

Although SpecLive Impact has robust searching tools allowing for the combination of options and filters, most users will find the results they need by using the Simple Search bar located at the top of the Live Search module.

Using the Simple Search Bar

The Simple Search bar is located at the top of the Live Search module and allows for searching based on either a manufacturer, project name, or company.

Follow the steps below to perform a Simple Search.

1. Select Manufacturer, Project, or Company from the drop down menu:
   
   
   
   
2. Enter text into the search bar. In the image below Manufacturer is selected (this is the default option), and Fakro is the Manufacturer entered into the Search bar.
   
   
   
   
3. Strike the Enter (Return) key of the keyboard, or click the initiate search button (magnifying glass icon) at the end of the Simple Search bar.
   
   
   
   SpecLive Impact will display the results of the search in the Summary Overview, Company Activity, and Project Activity tabs. Learn more about reviewing results.
