Overview

SpecLink Cloud received a list of important improvements on 3/2/2024.

Improvements

The following improvements were made to SpecLink Cloud:

• Auto-scroll to Corresponding Paragraph When Clicking on a Comment
• Copy Comments When Copying Project/Office Master
• Corrected Underlined Less-Than/Greater-Than Symbol Not Showing Correctly in PDFs
• Various data and Code Fixes

Auto-scroll to Corresponding Paragraph When Clicking on a Comment

When viewing a section in SpecLink Cloud, comments that appear when the comment viewer is open can now be used to navigate to the corresponding paragraph. After clicking on a comment, the section will smoothly auto-scroll so that the paragraph associated with the selected comment is in view. This will also occur when a different comment is selected, moving the other comments into view accordingly.

Copy Comments When Copying Project/Office Master

When creating a new project/office master where "Copy from Existing Project" or "Copy from Office Master" is selected when defining the project/office master, a new option will be shown in the project information menu to copy comments from the existing project/office master. 

The Copy Comment Options:

• Do not copy comments - No comments are copied to the new project/office master.
• Copy all comments - All comments are copied to the new project/office master.
• Copy open comments - Only open comments are copied to the new project/office master.

Corrected Underlined Less-Than/Greater-Than Symbol Not Showing Correctly in PDFs

When underlined in a section, the special characters indicating less-than "<" or greater-than ">" will now properly appear when the section is exported to PDF.

Various Data Fixes have been Applied

These fixes include the following:

• Data Integrity and Performance Improvements
• Data/Software Security Improvements
• Various data integrity, performance, and security improvements have been implemented.
• Various data and code fixes that are project- or customer-specific have been applied since the previous SpecLink Cloud release.
