The SpecLink Cloud Dashboard

Overview

Once logged in, you’ll see the SpecLink Cloud Dashboard. 

The SpecLink Cloud Dashboard provides access to the following areas of SpecLink Cloud:

• Quick Access Toolbar: Located in the top right corner, this toolbar provides access to the notifications, help, and much more. Click here to learn more.
• People Page: Users/Role Management is accomplished in the People area.
• Projects List: This area contains a list of the projects for the account, depending upon sharing/privacy settings. 
• Office Masters List: An Office Master is a project that has been created as a template for multiple uses. 
• Shared With Me List: All projects others outside your SpecLink Cloud account have shared with you will appear here.
• BIM Library: The BIM Library is the user's populated list of BIM files. 
• Document Library: The Document Library allows for the upload and storage of PDF files that can be be attached to subdivisions or sections within projects.
• Settings: The Settings tab allows users with access to set the project type default privacy and admin settings. New projects, office masters or migrated projects can be set globally to have initial privacy settings to public, private, or hidden.

People

The People page provides the ability to search for, add, review, and edit users as well as the role permissions.

Projects List

The default SpecLink Cloud Dashboard display is the Projects List. This area contains a list of the projects for the account, depending upon sharing/privacy settings. A project can include specification sections, summary information, and any attached BIM files.

The Projects List provides the ability to set the number of projects being displayed, search for projects by name and project id, and sort by various columns. There is also a list of filter options to narrow down visible projects.

Office Masters

The Office Masters projects list will display project information of Office Master projects created by those on the SpecLink Cloud account.

Shared With Me

The Shared With Me projects list will display project information of those projects that have been shared with you from outside of your SpecLink Cloud account.

BIM Library

The BIM Library will display the Revit® “.rvt” files that have been uploaded to the system.

Document Library

The Document Library provides a tool for users to upload PDF documents to a library, then attach them to the appropriate subdivision or section within a project.

Settings

The Settings tab of the SpecLink Cloud Dashboard will allow users with access to set the project type default privacy and admin settings. This is also where "My Settings" are located.
