Notifications
The Notifications panel will provide access to the following notification types:
When a user has notifications, they will be indicated with a number next to the notifications icon.
Comment Notifications
Once @mentioned in a new comment, edited comment, or a comment reply, the tagged user will be receive a notification. Each Comment Notification can be clicked on to take the user directly to the section and paragraph where the comment was made.
Clicking on the comment will mark the comment as "Read" which will reduce the number on the notification icon, as well as change the blue dot next to the notification grey. The "Mark all as read" option will do this to all comment notifications.
There is also the option in the top right to filter the comments by unread only.
Activity Notifications
Activity notifications will cover all remaining notifications within SpecLink Cloud that are not comment related, such as a recap of imported sections, restoring an archived project, and more. Just like comment notifications, activity notifications can be marked as read and unread or deleted from the three-dot menu on the right side.
Activity notifications expire 30 days from the creation date. This simply means that the activity will drop from this list in 30 days. The expire date does not affect the actual activity.
