Overview
The default SpecLink Cloud Dashboard display is the Projects list.
The Projects List displays the projects the signed-in user can view or access.
This article covers the following topics:
Searching Projects
The Projects list provides the ability to search for projects by name or project id. Simply click in the Search Project Files field and type a full or partial project name or project id.
The search can be refreshed by click in the circular arrow on the right side of the window as shown above.
Filtering Projects
A filtering option to navigate various Projects and Office Masters, labeled “Filter By”, is located on the left side of the Projects or Office Masters dashboards. To expand the filter view, simply click on the down arrow next to "Filter By", and to collapse the filter view, simply click the up arrow next to "Filter By".
There are six filters, and multiple can be applied at a time. Each filter uses data entered into Summary Info for each project. The filters are:
- Project Location (listed as "City, State, Country")
- Project Type
- Work Type
- Project Floor Area
- Project Budget
- Project Admin
After selecting the filter options, click "Apply" to see the resulting project list that meets the filter criteria.
It is important to note that collapsing the "Filter By" menu will still retain any selected filter options. The "Reset" button will reset back to no filter options selected.
Sorting Projects
The default sort of the Projects list is the Last Modified column, which denotes the last time a section within the project was modified.
The Projects list can be sorted by any of the following columns:
- Name: Displays the name of the project.
- Type: Displays the sharing & privacy setting of the project: Public, Private or Hidden. Learn more here: Project Sharing & Privacy.
- ID: Displays the System Project ID. In the Summary Info of any project, a user can set an internal project ID.
- Sections: Displays how many sections are active in the project.
- Last Modified: Displays the last time a section within the project was modified.
- Modified By: Displays the user who last modified the project.
Click on the name of the column to sort the data by that column. Click twice to reverse the order (ascending/descending).
Show/Hide Columns
The show/hide columns tool is located in the top right corner of the Projects List.
Clicking this icon will open the Show/Hide Columns feature.
Here, simply select the columns you want to view and deselect those columns you don't want to view. The Project Name column will always be visible.
Projects List Display
Project information is displayed for 20 projects per page by default. A page navigation tool is located in the lower left corner of the Projects window as shown below.
Click the Items per page number to change how many projects appear on each page of the projects list.
