Overview
In sections within SpecLink Cloud, users have the ability to toggle to view only the active paragraphs within the current section. Toggling between Normal View and Active View is intended to give a quick overview of the section as it currently stands, showing only what has been selected and activated while hiding the inactive paragraphs.
Viewing Active Only
Once in a section, the default view is Normal View. This means all paragraphs (activated or not) will be visible in the section. A user can choose to view the section in active view, which will show only the selected active paragraphs.
In the SpecLink Cloud Toolbar, locate the dropdown menu that shows the 2 options for viewing the section.
Once Active View is selected, the section will update to only show current selected active paragraphs.
Repeat the process and select Normal View to bring all inactive paragraphs back into view.
When Active View is selected, it is similar to pulling up the Print Preview of the section. When Print Preview is open, it allows the user to preview a PDF version of the section being edited from the document panel in its current state.
It is important to note that the Document Map also updates in real time depending on the view.
