Overview
This article details the download and install process as well as the recommended and minimum system requirements for the BIM integration elements within SpecLink Cloud.
System Requirements

CPU
Minimum: Quad-core processor, 2.5 GHz or higher (Intel Core i5 / AMD Ryzen 5).
Recommended: 8+ cores, 3.0 GHz or higher (Intel Core i7/i9 / AMD Ryzen 7/9).
Large Models (>1 GB): High-performance workstation-class CPUs with large caches (Intel Xeon / AMD Threadripper).
GPU
Minimum: Dedicated GPU with 4 GB VRAM, supporting WebGL 2.0.
Recommended: NVIDIA RTX or AMD Radeon RX series with 8+ GB VRAM.
Large Models (>1 GB): High-end GPUs (NVIDIA RTX A-series / 30xx–40xx / AMD equivalent) with 16+ GB VRAM for smooth visualization and rendering.
RAM
Minimum: 16 GB system memory.
Recommended: 32 GB or higher.
Large Models (>1 GB): 64 GB+ strongly recommended.
Connectivity
Minimum: Stable broadband, 10 Mbps downlink.
Recommended: 50 Mbps or higher, low latency (<50 ms).
Large Models (>1 GB): High-speed enterprise connection (100 Mbps+), ideally wired Ethernet. Cloud CDN acceleration improves performance.
Browser Compatibility
Requirements: WebGL 2.0 enabled, JavaScript ES2020 support.

Download and Install
Once confirming the system requirements, follow the steps below to download and install the SpecLink Revit Plug-In tool.
Download
Users must be running version 2025 or 2026 in order to utilize the SpecLink Revit Plug-In. Download the installer by clicking on the appropriate links below based on the current Revit version.

Install
Once downloaded from the link above, the installer can be run from the downloaded file. When running the installer, an initial installer window will appear to confirm the start of the install process.
The installer window will show system requirements with a link to the related guide article for more information if needed.
To begin the install process, click "Install Now >" in the bottom right corner.
After installing, open Revit and navigate to the Add-Ins tab, and the SpecLink Cloud Revit Plug-In will be available for use.
