Revert to Master

Overview

Revert to Master allows the user to delete all user edits in a master section.

The user-modified master section will be replaced with the latest published version of the RIB master section. If the section has pending updates, they will be accepted in the process of reverting to master.

Revert to Master is located in the More menu of the SpecLink Cloud toolbar.

Steps to Revert a Section to Master Content

Follow these steps to revert a section to the RIB master content.

1. Access the section you want to revert to master.
   
   
2. Locate the More Menu from the SpecLink Cloud toolbar and click Revert to Master.
   
   
   
   
3. A confirmation message will appear asking you to confirm the reversion. This action can not be undone.
   
   
   
   
4. Upon clicking Yes, the section will be reverted back to the RIB master content and a successful message will appear.
   
   

The user-modified master section will be replaced with the latest published version of the RIB master section. If the section has pending updates, they will be accepted in the process of reverting to master.

The default user role for this feature is System Manager. A role permission has been added to allow for controlling access to the feature.
