Overview
Users can copy an existing user section or RIB Master section to create a new user section.
Steps to Copy a Section
Follow the steps below to copy a user or RIB Master section.
- Locate the section to be copied from the Sections list within a project.
- Right-click on the name of the section to review the options. Alternatively, click the options menu (3 vertical dots) located at the right end of the section entry row.
- From the options menu, select Copy Section.
- The Copy Section window will open.
- The Section ID, Suffix, and Section Name fields are editable. The combination of Section ID and Suffix must be unique for each section.
The Folder field will update to match the entered Section ID, however, those who have access to the flexible content - customizable folders tools will be able to select whatever folder they want the section to live in.
- Click OK.
Project Notes and Paragraph Links will be copied from the original section. Cross Section links will not be copied.
