Overview
When a Revit Model is synced with a Project, the BIM Elements within the model will suggest specification sections for activation based on the detailed data within the BIM Element.
Review the steps for Reviewing BIM Elements to learn how to access the Revit file and it's BIM Elements.
Reviewing Suggested Specification Sections From BIM Elements
Once you've accessed a synced Revit file, you can review the file's BIM Elements on the left side of the screen.
When clicking a specific element on the left side, SpecLink Cloud will display a window of suggested specification sections for the element on the right.
The more detailed the BIM elements, the better the suggested sections will be, where as the below example is a general door element, SpecLink Cloud gave a list of many door related sections.
Sections can be activated to be included in the project by clicking the SpecLink Cloud activation checkbox, just like in the project's section list.
SpecLink Cloud can go further as well by fully Linking BIM Elements to Specification Sections. Please see this guide article for more information.
