Master Notes

Overview

Master Notes are created by the RIB Content team and include additional information regarding the correlating paragraph. Master notes are not editable by the user.

Viewing Master Notes

A paragraph that includes a Master Note will have an orange note card labeled with an "M" located next to the Sequence number as shown below.

Click the orange note card next to the correlating paragraph Sequence number to view the Master Note. Please note that Project Notes, custom user notes, will appear Blue labeled with a "P".

Alternately, all Master Notes contained in the accessed section can be viewed by clicking on the Sequence Manager menu on the left side of the screen and choosing Notes.

A Master note could include additional information the RIB Content team wants you to know about such as items included within a section or paragraph, specifying guidance, manufacturer information, and things to keep in mind while working in the specific section.
