Overview
Project Notes are user-added notes that the specifier has entered to communicate information to others involved in the project.
Adding Project Notes
Users can add project notes to any paragraph.
- From the Sequence Manager on the left side of the document edit window, click Notes.
- Click in the "+ Add a note..." field as shown below:
- The Project Notes entry window will appear.
- Here, you can enter a Title, text, bullets lists, images, and hyperlinks.
- Once created, drag the desired sequence number(s) to the project note. Add all possible sequence numbers at this point, because although the project note can be edited, additional sequence numbers cannot be added after this point.
Once a Project Note has been saved, a blue note card labeled "P" will appear in the Notes column of the document editing window as displayed below.
If the paragraph has a Master Note associated, the blue note card will appear behind the orange Master Note note card. The image below displays both examples.
Sequence number 0076 has a Master note associated, while sequence number 0027 has both a Master note and a Project note.
Editing Project Notes
Project Notes can be edited after they've been saved.
Follow these steps to edit an existing project note:
- Open the project note.
- Click the three vertical dots on the right side of the note window as shown below.
The note menu will offer the options of Edit, Delete, and Info. - Select Edit as shown below to make any necessary changes to the project note.
- Clicking Delete will remove the note completely.
- Clicking Info will display who created the note and when, as well as when the last time it was modified and by whom.
Reminder, although the project note can be edited, additional sequence numbers cannot be added after the note is created.

Usually, when a project note is added to any Master Note, its purpose is to change, introduce, or critique the Master Note content. We would suggest that it should appear IN FRONT of the Master note in the panel, and the same in the little icon in the main editing window.
It would also be helpful to be able to get rid of a note entirely, so as to completely replace it with a project note. Is such functionality availalble?
