The Document Manager in SpecLink Cloud

Overview

The Document Manager is located on the right margin of the section editing window. 

The Document Manager is a fly out menu that houses the access points for Choices, Global Terms, Reference Standards, and the Document Map.

Choices

There are 2 types of Choice Fields:

• Exclusive Choices allow for only 1 of the options to be selected. An exclusive choice is indicated by circular "radio" buttons.
• Inclusive Choices allow for multiple selections to be made via and/or statements. An inclusive choice is indicated by square selection boxes.

Global Terms

Global Terms allow for the specifier to replace common project terms such as the Project Name, the Owner's Actual Name, and the Project Completion Date throughout the project with terms relevant to the project.

Reference Standards

SpecLink Cloud includes citations to over 2,000 reference standards. The RIB Specifications Team verifies every reference standard included in the master database on a regular basis.

Document Map

The Document Map makes navigating through a section quick and easy. The Document Map displays level 1 & 2 paragraphs and when clicked, the section scrolls immediately to that sequence.
