Empty Folders (Placeholders) in the Project Sections List

Overview

The Sections List of a SpecLink Cloud Project or Office Master may contain empty subdivision folders for future RIB Master Sections or imported user sections. 

Empty Folders in the Project Sections List

The empty (placeholder) folders in the sections list are intentionally placed there.

These "container" folders are part of the CSI MasterFormat™. These folders may be populated in the future with RIB Master Sections, and are especially useful when importing sections from Word.

When a subdivision folder has an caret (arrow icon) next to it, as displayed below, that folder contains sections.

When a subdivision folder does not have a caret next to it, as displayed below, that folder is empty. 

Users can import user sections by importing Word documents into this folder. The folder will then display the caret because it now contains content.
