Project Lock

Overview

Project Lock ensures that no changes are made to a project after the project has been locked.

Locked projects cannot be edited by any user (internal or outside contributor) in any role. This includes accessing any functionality within the Sequence Manager or Document Manager, viewing Project Notes for example.

Locked projects can be opened in read-only mode and can be exported to Word or printed. 

Locking a Project

Project Lock is located in two locations:

1. The project Summary Info contains a Project Lock toggle pictured below: 
   
   
   
   
2. The options menu (three vertical dots) located at the right end of the project row on either the Projects or Office Masters tab of the Dashboard page.
   
   
   
   

The ability to lock and unlock a project or office master is restricted by role, adjustable on the People Page and in Role Permissions.
