Overview
Whether an active project was created in SpecLink Cloud or migrated from SpecLink-E, the project can be duplicated as an Office Master.
Steps to create an Office Master from an active project
Follow the steps below to create an Office Master from an existing active project.
- From the SpecLink Cloud Dashboard click the red Create New Project button.
The Create New Project dialog window will appear.
- In step 1 of the Create New Project window, select to create an Office Master.
- Next, select Copy from Existing Project.
- Complete step 1 by selecting the existing project to copy from to create the new Office Master. In the depiction below, I am choosing the "West Middle School" project. Note that the option to browse for more projects other than those most recently accessed is available.
- Continue to step 2 by clicking the blue Next button.
Note that your step 1 selections will be summarized in the window as pictured below.
- Step 2 of the Create New Project window is where project information is entered. You'll see the original project name as a "Copy of..." pictured below.
I'll update the project name to identify it as an Office Master.
- Enter the remainder of the project information including if the comments from the project should be copied into the new Office Master. Click the blue Finish button to create the new Office Master.
The new Office Master project will appear in the Office Master projects list of the SpecLink Cloud Dashboard.
