Replacing a Section ID

Overview

There are times when it is necessary to replace a section ID within the master text to accommodate for the specific needs of the project.

Steps to replace a section ID within a paragraph

Follow the steps below to replace a section ID within a paragraph.

1. Locate the section ID that needs to be replaced.
   
   
2. Right-click on the section ID and select Delete Section ID from the menu.
   
   
   
   
3. Access the Document Manager on the right side of the screen and select Choices.
   
   
   
   
4. From the Choices Panel, create a new Multiple Choice choice option.
   
   
   
   
5. Click the "+" sign next to the first new choice option.
   
   
   
   
6. Select Section ID from the menu.
   
   
   
   
7. From the list of Section ID's select the Include Section Title option.
   
   
   
   
8. Scroll through the list, or use the Search window to locate the Section ID and Title you want to insert into the paragraph.
   
   
   
   
9. Review the Choice List Preview window at the bottom of the Choices Panel.
   
   
   
   
10. Click and Drag the choice to the desired location within the section.
